As graduations in our area take place this week, we've enjoyed looking back over the senior portraits we've created this year. Here are a few of our favorites.

Recurring Theme

Another opportunity to preserve a great memory for a special military family. We are humbled and grateful for these projects.

Military Heritage

A good friend recently gave me the opportunity to create a special piece using individual pictures of five members of his family who had served in the military. He gave me the five images to scan, a quotation to include and a request to incorporate the U.S. flag. Beyond that, I had carte blanche.
This was a privilege to do and we were both pleased with the final image.

Sunset Plaza

Since moving the studio, we have become members of the Sunset Plaza Merchants Association.
I recently had the opportunity to develop a logo for use in promoting the shopping center and then designing an ad with the new logo. It was something completely different for me and I enjoyed the challenge.

I Hope You Dance

The young lady in this series absolutely loves dance. She is involved in several classes as well as a competitive dance team. We decided to show her enthusiasm by creating this composite image.

Although babies need very little retouch, a few subtle enhancements can take a great portrait and add just a little extra pop!

Last month we had the unique opportunity to photograph renowned guitarist and Enid native, Brad Richter. Wess set up the camera room and then took lots of images of Brad and his fellow musician, cellist Viktor Uzur, playing their instruments, interacting with each other and just having a good time. One of Wess' favorite images of Brad was really nice, but Wess felt the background was a little distracting - so I cleaned it up! Here are the before and after.

Plus Three

Early in 2008 we photographed a multi-generational family. At the time, one group of family members wasn't available for the sitting. Fortunately, in December we photographed the three additional family members and through the magic of Photoshop added them to the portrait.

Special by Design

One of my favorite projects in 2008 was creating a custom greeting card for a special client.
The finished card was a 5x5 trifold. The first image shows the three outside panels, and the second show the three inside panels. They finished the "OSU" theme with a beautiful square orange envelope.
