Generations

A client recently asked us to help create a special Christmas gift for his mother. He brought in
an old photo of his father who has been deceased for a number of years. He wanted us to photograph he and his young son and then add the father to the new portrait. Here is the photo
we started with:

Happy Anniversary

We recently photographed one of our favorite clients for a 60th anniversary portrait. Since they did not have a portrait from their wedding, they brought in their high school senior portraits and asked if there might be some way to create a portrait of them together "back then". Here's how it unfolded (as well as the new portrait).

Celebrating a Century

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Enid, Oklahoma, is preparing to celebrate their centennial early in 2009. Wess and I have a strong connection to St. Paul's. We were married there, all three of our daughters were baptized there and two of our daughters had their weddings there. It was our privilege to photograph and create a special piece for the church's centennial event. I think the finished image encompasses what St.Paul's means to the congregation as well as our community.

Sometimes merging the best from two images is the way to go for a great group portrait.

Spirit of '08 ('09)

The Enid Cheerleaders' calendar was such a success last year that they have created a new calendar for 2008-2009 as a fundraiser for uniforms, contests and other expenses. We had a great time creating images of the EHS senior cheerleaders and the junior/sophomore cheerleaders.

Might as Well Jump

Guitar Hero has been the inspiration for a couple of portraits this year and Jennifer's senior sitting provided a unique opportunity to combine two "Hero" images. I think it shows the inner
rock star that resides in many of us!
